Brick Restoration

$1.00 per brick is the cost for refinishing the outside brick work of Schmuhl School. Molter Corporation did the work for us and did an excellent job! Donations are still being accepted to defray the cost of this large project

Tar covered the brick where the roof of the former additions were joined to Schmuhl School.	Paint covered the brick in those areas that became interior walls of the expanded school.

Spaghetti Dinner

Our dinner is the second Wednesday in October from 4 to 8 P.M. at the New Lenox VFW at 323 Old Hickory Road (corner of Vine and Old Hickory Streets). Purchase tickets from our office or from any member - for information call 815-485-5576.

Annual Picnic at Schmuhl School

Where: Under the pavillion
Held on the first Thursday in August each year. It begins at 6 P.M. Enjoy a delicious dinner of fried chicken, Italian beef, fruits and vegetables, mashed potatoes, beverages and desert too! Schmuhl is open for tours as well. Dinner tickets are $10.00 and available by calling NLAHS at 815-485-5576. We would love for you to join us!
