The New Lenox Area Historical Society encourages owners of unique properties to explore the possibilities of landmarking!

Exploring the history of your property is exciting and the honor of being selected as a “Will County Landmark” is tremendous!

Forms and information for this process can be obtained from the Will County Preservation website…www.willcountypreservation.org.

While the process requires many steps you have a friend in the New Lenox Area Historical Society.
We have helped others through the process and would be delighted to speak with you about the landmarking opportunity.

If you you have a property

• More than 50 years old
• Associated with an important community leader or event
• and/or Outstanding architectural example or the work of a famous architect
• and/or A prominent location in the community
• and/or Other qualifiers on the Will County list…
